Free Story – The Covid Shuffle

What use was a massage therapist who couldn’t touch people? Jackson was moping along the Vancouver Seawall, keeping his social distance and feeling sorry for himself. His thoughts had fallen into some dark paths ever since the coronavirus lockdown brought his profession to a crashing halt. This morning’s fresh air was his latest attempt to lighten the mood.

If he couldn’t touch anybody, at least he could practice assessing them.
